Trainee IT System Engineer (80-100%)

You will support the Cloud Endpoint Service Team that is responsible for providing all SDX employees a stable and state-of-the-art workplace environment at the Office in Pfingstweidstrasse. Additionally, you will get in close contact with the overall collaboration & communication infrastructure Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Azure's user management. That internship provides you as well insights in incident handling and Identity & Access Management activities. Cherry on the cake: You will be connected, supported, and have great opportunities to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, innovative global company. This position is temporary postion limited for 8 months *(from January 2025 untill end of August 2025).
What You Will Do
- Design ITIL CMDB inventory management for device change management
- Assist in IAM (identity & access management) activities like role definitions in MyAccess
- Contribute in building up knowledge base articles that support SDX employees in day-to-day work
- Coordinate documentation of SDX's application architecture (Troux, Confluence, SEDO...)
- Develop automated responses on a ITSM solution based on reported incidents
What You Bring
- Data science, computer science student or recent graduate
- Familiar with cloud technologies like, Microsoft Azure or similar, and networking fundamentals
- Familiar with ITIL, especially incident, change processes and IAM experience
- Willingness to collaborate and work autonomously paired with good time management skills
- Quick learner, curious about new technology and strong interest in the latest developments in the financial industry.
