WAF System Engineer (80-100%)

SIX is looking for a motivated and talented WAF System Engineer, who is passionate about innovation, to help us build and run a highly secure, scalable and automated Web Access Management Platform.
We are ‘T-shaped’ engineers with international team set-up located in Spain and Switzerland. You will work cross-functional with Architects, Solution Engineers and Cyber Security Analysts across multiple teams and take E2E responsibility i.e. from evaluation, implementation and support.
As a WAF engineer, you are responsible for protecting customer and company data from potential attacks in every situation. You keep your Skills updated with latest developments in the cyber security and provide our business and IT customers with innovative and modern solutions.
What You Will Do
- operate and maintain SIX WAF and IDM Platform
- implement & improve Security Standards incl. participation in security assessments and audits
- building and maintaining multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, OpenShift
- use your interpersonal skills to consult business and IT stakeholders to integrate mission-critical solutions
- on-call duties
What You Bring
- 2+ years' experience with WAF, OWASP Top 10 and IAM Solutions
- ready to learn various Authentication methods such as O-Auth, OpenID Connect and SAML and proficient in Debugging and troubleshooting to provide customer support
- experience working with Linux OS and scripting skills such as Shell, Python, etc.
- experience with containerization (Kubernetes), infrastructure as code and good experience with automation frameworks
- communicative team-player with good self-management capabilities
- good communication skills in English, German as an advantage
