Fixed Income Surveillance Specialist

BME is the operator of all securities markets and financial systems in our country and is part of the SIX Group. In Fixed Income surveillance team we are looking for a person to join the team to cover the daily basis. As a Fixed Income operation specialist you will be learning how to manage our trading platforms: SENAF, AIAF and MARF as well as our database. You will work in a motivated, dynamic environment in which we are responsible for Fixed Income Markets.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and supervise the Fixed Income Markets, including checking positions, trades, market abuse detection, end-of-day reporting and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable European market regulations
- Manage market members and their system connectivity
- Actively participate in version upgrades and system testing
- Provide real-time monitoring and helpdesk support to both national and international members
- Register and maintain securities and market issues in our systems
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional training in financial markets or capital markets is a plus
- Previous experience in the financial sector, especially in operational or back office roles, is highly valued, with a minimum of over three (3) years of relevant experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (minimum B2 level)
- A detail-oriented, proactive, and decisive individual with strong teamwork skills
- High level of accuracy and patience when handling sensitive data to avoid errors
