 Operational Risk Specialist

We are currently looking for a responsible, proactive and analytical person, with experience in Risk Management, and particularly in Operational risks oversight to join our Regis-TR risk team. REGIS-TR, a SIX company, is one of the largest trade repositories in Europe, offering reporting services covering all the major European regulatory reporting obligations, including EMIR, SFTR, FinfraG and UK EMIR.

What You Will Do

  • work with the 1st line of defense to identify, assess, document, and regularly review risks and controls and coach the business to design and implement mitigating actions
  • support the risk incident management process by ensuring risk events are recorded, analyzed and managed according to internal guidelines 
  • monitor proper & timely execution by 1st line of defense teams of remediation plans
  • monitor of operational risk against limits and thresholds, as well as financial risk exposures (risk appetite monitoring)
  • produce respective reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
  • contribute to the development of a strong risk culture and a more efficient risk identification and mitigation

 What You Bring

  • between 1 and 5 years of enterprise or operational risk management experience. If this experience is on a tech on financial firm would be considered positively
  • knowledge on RCSA approach
  • responsible and communicative personality with a precise way of working and the willingness to learn new things and to develop constantly
  • ability to identify problems and to solve them systematically and proactively
  • technical flair
  • high English level, both written and spoken, and hability to communicate in spanish
