Senior Cloud Engineer

You will join the Application Platform Department’s Public Cloud product team and foster collaboration of global SIX teams. Alongside your product team, you will serve as the go-to person for public cloud-related laaS/PaaS demands, enabling internal customers to identify cloud use cases and supporting internal Google Cloud and Azure platforms that power international financial markets 24/7.

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with experience in cloud transformations, who can help to identify and implement use cases benefitting from cloud technologies while ensuring secure, compliant and cost-effective operations.
What You Will Do
- demonstrate a strong customer focus and communication skills while leading our customers along the cloud journey; from mindset change, identifying value-add cloud use cases to implementation and operation
- become a go-to person for laaS/PaaS/AI public cloud demands, consulting DevOps teams and acting as an ambassador throughout the organization to promote the transition towards cloud-native solutions
- working together with DevOps teams on hands-on solution designs, principles, integration patterns to implement use cases
- work on multi-cloud concepts and integrations
- manage and improve the overall maturity of the cloud platforms with a deep understanding of cloud platforms services such as policies enforcement, networking, key management services, roles and permissions, DNS, hybrid connectivity, VPN, private and public endpoints, logging and monitoring
What You Bring
- excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills in English with a strong customer focus
- experience with public cloud adoption at enterprise level and/or in the financial industry is a plus
- min 5 years hands on experience at enterprise-level with public cloud services, focusing on PaaS and laaS on Microsoft Azure. Google Cloud and AWS is a plus
- deep knowledge of cloud core services (networking, security, storage and IAM) and PaaS services, their operation and configuration options and Blueprint creation;
- hands on experience with Terraform code (Infrastructure as a Code) and pipelines deployments
- fluent in English, Spanish is an advantage
