 Senior Labor Relations Consultant (Temporary)

Join our HR team in Spain as Senior Labor Relations Consultant to cover a 1 year temporary position.

What You Will Do

  • Provide guidance and support on all HR operational topics related to the full employee life cycle; from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff on employee relations
  • Provide legal advice on employment agreements, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary matters, and represent the company in court proceedings when necessary
  • Monitor updates to local labor laws and SIX regulations, ensure timely adjustments to local HR policies, and verify their compliance with the latest standards
  • Act as one of the points of contact for union representatives and manage collective bargaining processes and negotiate agreements, CBA, resolve disputes, and ensure adherence to Union agreements
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Unions to promote mutual understanding and alignment with organizational goals
  • Handle inspections and requirements from labor authorities, Social Security, Tax Agency, and other authorities
  • Lead HR initiatives, including diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement, and organizational change management, working closely with HR teams at both local and global levels and contribute to different HR projects

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Labor Law, Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR consulting or personnel management, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity
  • Extensive knowledge of Spanish labor laws, regulations, and employment standards
  • Proven experience managing union relationships, including collective bargaining and conflict resolution
  • Ability to navigate in an international and global matrix organization
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, any other language is a plus
