We seek a Team Lead to join our Financial Risk team in Madrid for the BME Clearing area, responsible for regulatory compliant risk oversight, liquidity and recovery frameworks, and risk process automation. Be part of a team that values collaboration, ownership and reliability.

What You Will Do
- Lead a team of 5 Financial Risk professionals and ensure financial risks are identified, measured and managed in full compliance with EMIR and internal risk standards.
- Develop and maintain liquidity, recovery and resolution concepts, as well as participation in ESMA stress tests.
- Drive automation and optimization of risk monitoring, controls and reporting to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Foster a strong risk awareness and culture across the Group in line with evolving regulatory and internal standards.
- Support strategic initiatives and projects related to clearing services, products or regulatory change and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align financial risk practices with business and clearing objectives.
- Represent BME Clearing financial risk topics in internal committees and external regulatory or industry forums.
What You Bring
- Proven flexibility and sense of responsibility, with the ability to act decisively in a regulated and dynamic environment.
- Solid experience in financial risk management preferible in financial markets industry leading and developing teams, creating engagement, accountability and sustainable performance. Experience in a CCP will be considered positively.
- University degree in Business Administration or similar and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights to senior management.
- Strong ability to contribute ideas proactively and translate concepts into practical, value adding risk solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with multiple departments and senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling clear communication in an international setting.
