 Treasury Analyst

The Securities Services Treasury team oversees the regulatory treasury and cash management of the financial market infrastructures in Switzerland and Spain. In addition to steering and managing liquidity for the custody and clearing businesses, we are also responsible for investments, as well as the operational and strategic management of cash and collateral holdings. 
In the role of Treasury Analyst, you will support the team in driving initiatives and projects, preparing reports, presentations, and analyses, and performing selected operational tasks.

What You Will Do 

  • Support the monitoring and analysis of liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks ans assist in the daily management of collateral and liquidity positions across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Monitor financial markets, interest rate developments, and macroeconomic trends, providing relevant insights to the Treasury team and prepare management reports, presentations, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to treasury projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Risk, Operations, and Technology.
  • Support the execution and settlement of treasury transactions while ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and process enhancements, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards in all treasury activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and banking counterparties to facilitate treasury operations and resolve operational issues.

What You Bring 

  • University degree in Finance, ADE, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a treasury function, preferably in an international environment and experience with treasury management systems, settlement and payment systems and solid understanding of day-to-day business treasury operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in financial markets and treasury activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a dynamic and regulated environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
