An opportunity has been created for a Sales Director to join our team in Japan, working within SIX Financial Information.  We are seeking a highly motivated sales person with strong client experience and a proven track record in data and product sales within the financial industry.  


The role is based in Tokyo and is focused on identifying new client prospects with Japan and the  surrounding region, positioning the complete suite of SIX Financial Information products.  You will be supported by a local pre / post sales team and will work with the local sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales in Japan.





What You Will Do

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the revenue across an existing client territory, by growing a strong client network and up-selling / cross-selling services.
  • Identify new client prospects to onboard, growing your client portfolio in the local market.
  • Work with our local partners and the regional APAC Partners Lead to identify opportunities to leverage SIX content..
  • Work with local product management teams to further define the product offering for the Japan market.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations at client events.



What You Bring

  • A strong background in data sales across the financial sector.
  • Experience in delivering senior presentations and leading sales initiatives across all levels of the clients operation.
  • Excellent knowledge of core content sets - corporate actions data, reference data, pricing data – and a clear understanding of all asset classes.
  • Proven ability to hit targets and deliver sales success, with a respectable level of English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines in a matrix environment liaising with many internal stakeholders
