 Business Analyst - Fixed Income (with French)

Would you like to dive into the fascinating world of fixed income? As part of a team of specialists, you will analyze and specify requirements for content covering bonds and structured products, and ensure accurate handling of corporate actions (e.g., bond payments, early redemption) for French Products, Finalim and PGD. You’ll translate all changes sourced from VDF and main primary sources (e.g., Euronext, Euroclear) into clear, testable specifications that drive high‑quality data for our FR Products and clients.

 

What You Will Do

  • Produce and maintain detailed functional specifications, data mappings, and interface definitions for bond reference data, coupon events, and corporate actions.
  • Set clear acceptance criteria; lead and participate in UAT and regression testing; ensure release readiness.
  • Prioritize improvements and manage end-to-end processes, from data source to validation, standardization and dissemination (Finalim, PGD and possibly other global products).
  • Establish standards for bond classifications, coupon handling, and entitlement rules; ensure regulatory, licensing, and tax compliance.
  • Build data lineage, metadata, and data dictionaries; define KPI frameworks; run quality reviews and root‑cause analyses for incidents.
  • Mentor BAs; facilitate cross‑functional ceremonies; drive continuous improvement with product, engineering, QA, and operations

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in financial information (fixed income preferred).
  • Deep expertise in fixed income (bonds, structured products), bond calculations, and corporate action lifecycles for French products.
  • Proven leadership in complex, cross‑team delivery and roadmap ownership—mentors BAs, drives continuous improvement, and stays hands‑on to produce clear, testable specifications.
  • Strong data modeling and governance skills; familiarity with identifiers and classification schemes.
  • Experience with entitlement policies, distribution controls, and testing methodologies (UAT, regression).
  • Proficiency with SQL and Excel; familiarity with APIs and cloud‑based delivery; comfortable in agile frameworks. Knowledge of GitLab is appreciated.
  • Knowledge of GitLab is appreciated.
  • Fluent English (B2/C1) & French (B2) are mandatory. Comfortable communicating in a global, cross functional environment.
