Introduction

Help keep our products running on clean, timely, trustworthy reference data. You’ll shape and operate the intake pipelines—from sourcing and mapping to validation and release. You’ll have real responsibility, make a visible impact on production, and quickly grow your expertise in key areas like identifiers, taxonomies, and quality controls.

What you will do 

•    Requirements & specs: Capture and structure requirements for reference data intake (instrument/issuer). Write user stories and acceptance criteria. 
•    Source onboarding & mapping: Analyze new/changed sources; define attribute mappings, dictionaries, and survivorship rules for golden copy mastering. 
•    Interfaces: Design/update of mapping, program, and file specifications (CSV/TSV, JSON, XML; SFTP/HTTPS), versioning, conversions, and updates.
•    Quality controls: Implement schema/format checks, validation rules, reconciliation vs. sources, de duplication, exception taxonomies, and remediation flows. 
•    Operations: Support data operations in racking timeliness and completeness, and backlog; surface risks and propose mitigations/automation. 

What you will Bring

•    Strong command of instrument/issuer master concepts, controlled vocabularies, and attribute dictionaries, and can standardize them across sources.
•    Working knowledge of multi‑vendor feed comparison, schema evolution, mapping design, and survivorship rules for a golden copy.
•    Working knowledge creating and tuning validation rules, performing reconciliation to source, running de‑duplication, and managing exceptions—comfortably tracking KPIs for timeliness, completeness, and defect density.
•    Working knowledge writing specs for CSV/JSON/XML, handling encoding/locale/time‑zone details, SFTP/HTTPS transport, compression/encryption, and executing cut‑over and backfill plans.
•    Strong command of writing acceptance criteria and designing test cases/regression packs for reference data intake.
