 Business Analyst

Warsaw | working from home up to 40% | Reference 7638

Introduction
We are implementing the strategic integration of FactEntry (FE) as the single center of excellence for Fixed Income (FI) and Structured Products (SP) data—consolidating workflows and automating lifecycle event processing. This includes CH‑NSIN assignment by the central database and the build‑out of the technical infrastructure and applications. As a Business Analyst, you will support requirements definition and documentation for data ingestion, transformation, processing rules, and enrichment, enabling seamless integration from the external source through internal systems.

What you will do

•    Elicit and document functional/non‑functional requirements for FE integration and related rules/workflows, including CH‑NSIN assignment.
•    Contribute to data mappings and canonical models for FI/SP instruments and lifecycle events across the value chain.
•    Help specify processing rules and search procedures in the central database, validating CH‑NSIN assignment against existing rules.
•    Translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria; update interface specifications for inter‑system data flows.
•    Collaborate with developers and QA to validate integration flows, including ISO‑format corporate actions and reference data enrichment (content + technical).
•    Prepare operational/process documentation and assist with duplication‑prevention checks. Track dependencies, surface risks early, and support mitigation actions.

What you will bring

•    2–4 years’ BA experience in financial services or data‑integration projects.
•    Foundational understanding of FI instruments, Structured Products, lifecycle events, and reference data practices.
•    Familiarity with integration patterns, APIs, and workflow automation tools. Practical skills: basic SQL, spreadsheets, and scripting (e.g., Python); experience with agile tools (e.g., Jira) and version control (e.g., Git) is a plus.
•    Strong communication; collaborative mindset; fluent English with clear written/oral articulation.
•    Exposure to ISO 20022 corporate action formats and NSIN assignment logic.
•    Experience with data modeling and performance/KPI tracking; understanding of reconciliation and de‑duplication controls.
