Internship Sales & Products - Primary Markets

To support our Sales & Products and Primary Markets teams, we are looking for a highly motivated Intern (100%) for a fixed six-month period from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2027.
Are you eager to gain first-hand experience at the Swiss Stock Exchange in a dynamic and collaborative environment? Do you want to develop your professional skills while working closely with clients, listed companies, and market participants? If so, this internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights into the financial markets industry.
As part of our Sales & Products team, you will gain practical experience across a range of asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, ETFs, and Structured Products. In addition, you will work closely with our Primary Markets team, where you will gain exposure to listed companies, capital markets activities, and the IPO process. What You Will Do
- Deliver the weekly market commentary to the Global Sales & Products team
- Prepare client presentations for Relationship Managers and Sales Managers, and participate in client calls and meetings
- Maintain and update Global Account Plans for key strategic client relationships
- Prepare and distribute qualitative and quantitative business statistics to clients
- Conduct market and competitor research to support the development of targeted sales strategies
- Support the preparation of and participate in meetings with listed companies, trading firms, and other market participants
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external events
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field, ideally complemented by initial practical experience in Swiss banking, financial markets, or a comparable environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven working style with a strong commitment to quality
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative personality who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both German and English
- Availability between 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 (fixed internship period: 6 months)
