Clearing Operations Specialist

As a clearing operations specialist you will take a central role in processing customer queries referring to risk operations, settlement and customer access. It encompasses the key responsibility for customer satisfaction in terms of operational end-to-end delivery. You will further conduct relating statistics, operational analysis and definition of recommendations with the major focus of customer operational satisfaction. On this team you will work under a flexible hybrid model (40% of remote working and 60% in the office).

What You Will Do
- monitoring the proper functioning of the CCP and EoD processes
- act as liaison with members, regulators and other infrastructures within BME
- support to members
- risk and collateral management
- management and mantainance of testing environment
- development of in-house projects
What You Bring
- available to work in weekly rotatory shifts to cover the CCP operations from 8:00h to 23:30h.
- degree in Economics, Business Administration or Similar. A Postgraduate studies in Financial Markets will be an asset
- experience of at least 1 year in the financial sector in back office/operations area
- minimum knowledge of financial instruments or derivative products and of the functioning of a CCP (Margins, Clearing members)
- good command of English and Spanish (minimum B2 level writing and speaking) and advanced Office skills
- thorough, proactive and decisive person, with good communication and teamwork skills
