Project Management Officer

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to strengthen the delivery and governance of projects within SIX Securities Services, a leading provider of post trade services in the financial industry.
This role sits within the Business Support department and acts as an internal consulting function, supporting project teams and senior stakeholders to ensure high quality, on time and on budget project delivery across a complex and regulated environment.
As part of the team you will work in an international financial services environment, contributing to the continuous development of project management capabilities while supporting strategic initiatives with real business impact.

What You Will Do
- Plan, monitor and control project deliverables, milestones and KPIs, mantaining and structured project communication and stakeholder management
- Support and coordinate project team meetings, project boards, workshops and steering committees
- Perform project controlling activities, including financial reporting and actively manage RAID topics (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions)
- Define, maintain and continuously improve project management methods, standards, documentation and templates
- Collaborate in the harmonisation, optimisation and innovation of project management processes and support the onboarding of new employees into the division’s project environment
- Capture lessons learned and proactively propose improvements
What You Bring
- University degree in IT, finance, business management or any related field. PMP or PRINCE 2 certifications will be valuable.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Project Management Office or similar role
- Solid project management skills, including agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) . Jira/Confluence
- Good understanding of financial services, banking and/or insurance processes is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with a proactive, structured and result oriented mindset with also a strong customer focus
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish
